Most adverts are pretty lame and formulaeic. Not these. Someone at the creative agency has gone and outdone themselves this time and actually used a little bit of creativity. Probably the best ads you'll see all week.

It's Monday again, so steady yourself for a weekly collection of pictorial pleasures. Another batch of the juiciest nuggets of internet gold mushed together and squeezed into a vaguely cohesive whole for your admiration.

Not sure whether these would sell too well or even if they'd past safety regulations, but they're pretty damn cool. Created to the precise blueprints of tiny hands and simple minds, each one is unique.

Ever wondered what the world would be like if it was DC rather than Disney who bought Pixar? Perhaps even Marvel? Yeah, it would be a truly awesome world, full of expertly animated superheroes that look strangely familiar...

The joys of being a student, you sleep in late, go out all night partying. But the downside, shared accommodation with a pedantic psychotic flat mate who leaves you crazy notes.

So the Olympics and the paralympics are over. The races have all been run, the medals have all been handed out and the politicians have all received their rightful booing. Time to admire the subversive street artists take on the proceedings.

Our world is an amazing place, sometimes we take it too much for granted, just imagine what beauty an alien would make of the earth. The National Geographic Photo Contest 2011 shows us just that. be amazed.

Trust good old Mother Nature to cum up with millions of years of evolution to produce some of the most beautiful natural monuments the planet has ever seen - I would gladly plant a flag on ALL of them :)

Sometimes our base animal instincts rise up out of nowhere and we behave like dogs, sniffing around another canine's rear quarters, only humans are so much more evolved, so we just stare wide-eyed and drool.
