Sometimes when you are taking a photograph the camera records an action event at precisely the right moment and shows the scene in a way that would never be possible to see as it was happening. Awesome.

Out in the wild these toys would be baby seals that had become separated from their mothers, fish, whale carcasses or, of course, rookie research scientists who've gotten lost or explorers who've left their food stash out all evening.

It got pretty damn hot at points over this summer and watching people dealing with the heat in their own way is funny as hell. But watching animals deal with the high temperatures is even funnier.

Not having 20:20 vision might be a disadvantage in some ways but it's won't stop you from being blazing hawt, as any of these optically impaired turbo babes will demonstrate.

Joy of joys! Now this is what makes a great picture, not one single duck-face in sight and just a winning smile, look, asset, whatever is making the subject matter in question 'stand out' from the crowd. WANT!
