After Andie skips school for the hundredth time to rehearse with the 410, Sarah tells her she's had enough -- she's sending Andie to live with her aunt in Texas. But luckily for Andie, Tyler steps in and saves the day: he convinces Sarah to let Andie stay in Baltimore if she agrees to attend the Maryland School of the Arts. Now all Andie has to do is get in.

Once Andie lands at MSA, she finds herself fighting to fit in while also trying to hold onto her old life. Her school commitments quickly start taking up all her time, and after she misses one too many 410 rehearsals, her crew throws her out. But Andie refuses to give up; instead, she joins forces with the MSA's hottest dancer Chase Collins (Robert Hoffman), and they recruit a crew of their classmates to compete in Baltimore's underground dance battle, The Streets.
